Administration

  • Stewardship Committee:  Develops and educates about the stewardship of prayer, time, talent, and treasure.  Coordinates the yearlong stewardship effort and the four-week annual stewardship renewal. 
  • Parish Council:  Gives advice and council to the pastor.  The primary goal of the pastoral council is to help every member of the parish grow to the fullness of his or her Christian vocation. 
  • Bishop's Appeal:  Assists in planning and/or soliciting contributions to meet the parish financial obligation to support the needs of the Diocese.

Education

  • School Board:  Ensures that St. Aloysius school provides quality Catholic education.  To accomplish this, the school board defines the policies which govern the operation of the school.  These policies articulate the educational needs and aspirations of our parish and community. Under the direction of the School Board, various committees exist.  These committees include Finance, Development, and Marketing. 
  • St. Aloysius School:  Saint Aloysius School teaches all students to use their God-given talents to attain spiritual and academic success.  Contact Chuck Grimm 622-7151.
  • Sunday Morning Religious Education (CCD):  Provides Catholic religious education and faith formation to elementary age children.  Emphasis is placed on preparation for three cornerstone sacraments:  Reconciliation, Communion, and Confirmation.  In addition to imparting knowledge of the Catholic Faith to our parish youth, we will strive to tie in the Catholic response to today's culture.  Contact the parish office at 622-4491.
  • High School Youth Group:  Helps high school age parishioners find a home for their faith within the Catholic family.  (Personal Faith Development and Catholic Identity, Spiritual Growth, and Religious Literacy.)  Contact the parish office at 622-4491.

Christian Service

  • Liturgical:  Lay responsibilities and assistance during mass (e.g. Lectors).  Contact Harriet Follis 478-4546.
  • Altar and Rosary Society:  Promotes spiritual welfare of the women of the parish and service to the parish in honor of our Blessed Mother.  Group consists of women of all ages from the parish.  They join together to care for a variety of special needs within the church.  Contact Sue Frauenfelder 639-3766 / Tracy Miller 622-4176. 
  • Music Ministry:  A group of volunteer musicians and singers who provide music, song, leadership and psalm cantering at our Sunday Masses, Holy Days, and special events at the parish.  Contact Tim Johnson 747-2705.
  • Expectant Mother Outreach Program:  Parish community gives blessing and support to expectant mothers and their families during their preparation for motherhood.  Contact Jenny Simerman at 622-6204.
  • Athletic Booster Club:  Provides athletics for students attending St. Aloysius School in grades 4 through 8.  Objective is to teach not only the play of the sport, but also sportsmanship and self-discipline.  It is also important for students to learn to manage their time between studies and sports.
  • Holy Name Society:  Helps with the maintenance and general upkeep of the church.  Also assists the pastor in the weekly counting of the collection and provides ushers for Masses.  Contact Dave Meyer 638-4882.
  • Knights of Columbus:  A fraternal order based on Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.  Designed to meet the specific needs in the lives of the people of the parish.  Contact Tim Sorg 622-4861.
  • Christian Family Movement (CFM):  A family organization where the adults of the family meet once a month.  During the meeting, the adults follow one of the many different CFM programs and discuss topics of importance (marriages, families, church, and community) in light of Jesus' teachings.  Contact Jim and Diane Christie 638-4198.
  • Pro-life Committee:  Seeks to increase the parish's respect for human life from conception to natural death through various activities.  The many activities range from guest speakers to an essay and art contest for the grade school students.  Contact Arlene Aker 622-4839.
  • Prayer Chain:  Provides an opportunity for parishioners, their families and friends, an additional source of prayers for God's help in crisis situations; whether they are spiritual, physical, or emotional needs.  Contact Sharon Reuille 747-6744.
  • Home and School Association (HASA):  Implements/coordinates programs that will benefit the operation of the school.  These programs include extra-curricular activities, improvement projects, and fundraisers.  For information e-mail hasa@saintaloysiuscatholicchurch.org
  • Scrip Program:  A major fundraiser for the parish.  Local merchants have provided us certificates at discount rates.  A percentage of all sales go to the general parish fund.  Contact Leigh Sorg 639-6900.
  • Gator Girls:  Provides an educational program for girls to build character and to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship.  Contact Jennifer Simerman 622-6204.
  • Cub Scouts / Boy Scouts:  Provides an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.  Contact Steve Chandler 622-6200 / Chad Ware 744-0290
